How to Save and Continue Your Projects
Why saving matters
FSAI doesn't store your conversations between sessions. This protects your privacy — but it means you need to save your project data if you want to pick up where you left off. It takes 10 seconds and makes your next session much better.
How to save your project
After every response in Projects, you'll see a "Save Project Summary" button at the bottom. Tap it. You'll get two options:
Option A — Copy and paste (fastest)
- Tap "Copy to Clipboard"
- Paste it somewhere you'll find it — Notes app, email to yourself, a Google Doc
- Next time, tap "Continue Project" and paste it into the text box
Option B — Screenshot (easiest for phone users)
- Tap "Save Project Summary"
- The summary is formatted into sections that each fit on one phone screen
- Screenshot each section
- Next time, tap "Continue Project" and attach your screenshots using the paperclip button
Why we don't read your files
FSAI never accesses files on your device, your cloud storage, or your email. Your data stays yours. The tradeoff is that you bring your project context to us each time — but this also means you're always in control of exactly what we see.
Tips for better projects
- •Fill in reference materials. We'll search for your textbooks and sources online to give you better help.
- •Save after every session. Your project summary updates with your latest progress each time.
- •Start fresh when needed. If your project changes direction, start a "New Project" instead of continuing — it gives us fresh context.
